Two Meals a Day — Sample Day

Two larger meals, no grazing — a simple structure for people who'd rather eat properly twice than nibble all day.

GOAL
Fat Loss
LENGTH

CALORIES
1900 / day
PROTEIN
140 g / day

Two meals a day — usually a late brunch and an early dinner — cuts out snacking and decision fatigue. Because each meal is bigger, it can feel more satisfying than the same calories spread thin, which makes a deficit easier to hold. It overlaps with time-restricted eating but the point here is meal size and simplicity, not the clock.

WHO IT'S FOR
  • People who find constant snacking is where the calories creep in
  • Anyone who prefers two substantial meals
  • Those who want less to plan and prep
Sample dayRoughly 1,900 kcal · 140 g protein across two meals
  1. LunchThree-Egg Veggie ScrambleLate brunch, ~11am — add 2 slices of sourdough, half an avocado and fruit to make it a full meal.380 kcal · 28g P
  2. DinnerChicken & Rice Power BowlEarly dinner, ~6pm. Finish with Greek yogurt and berries if you have room.600 kcal · 48g P
NOTES
  • Front-load protein at both meals — two meals means two chances to hit it, so make them count.
  • If two meals leaves you too hungry to train, you probably need three — this is a preference, not a rule.
  • Plenty of water and a coffee bridge the gap between meals.
