Cookie Policy.
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies Yogi Athletics uses, and how you stay in control. We ask for your consent before loading anything beyond what the site needs to work.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies — like the browser’s local storage — do much the same thing. They let a site remember your choices and understand, in aggregate, how it is being used.
Your consent comes first
On your first visit we show a consent gate before any non-essential cookie loads. You can Accept, Decline, or Customise your choice. We use Google Consent Mode, so analytics stays switched off until you allow it. You can change your mind at any time from the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.
The categories we use
- Necessary — always on. Required for the site to function: keeping you signed in to the client portal, security, and remembering your light/dark theme choice. These do not track you and cannot be switched off.
- Analytics — optional, off by default. Google Analytics (GA4), which gives us anonymous, aggregated statistics on which pages are visited so we can improve the training content. This category loads only if you allow it.
What each one does
- Theme preference— stored in your browser’s local storage to remember whether you chose the light or dark theme. Necessary; stays on your device.
- Consent choice— records your cookie decision so we don’t ask again on every visit. Necessary.
- Google Analytics (e.g.
_ga) — distinguishes visitors and measures usage. Set only with your consent; typically expires within about two years.
Managing your preferences
Open Cookie Preferencesfrom the footer at any time to update or withdraw your consent. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though turning off necessary cookies may stop parts of the site — such as sign-in — from working. Where your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or global privacy-control signal, we keep optional analytics off unless you have explicitly opted in.
