The active compound in turmeric, taken for soreness and joint comfort — promising but early, and poorly absorbed.

Growing evidence for reduced muscle soreness and joint discomfort, but studies vary a lot in dose and form. Encouraging rather than settled — and cooking turmeric alone won't deliver a therapeutic dose.
