Teriyaki Salmon & Rice
Salmon for the omega-3s, rice for the recovery carbs, a quick soy glaze to make it eat well — a proper post-training dinner in twenty minutes.

- →150 g salmon fillet
- →70 g rice, dry weight
- →100 g broccoli or pak choi
- →2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tsp ginger
- →1 clove garlic, sesame seeds
- 01Cook the rice. Simmer the soy, honey, ginger and garlic for 2 minutes until slightly syrupy.
- 02Sear the salmon skin-side down 4 minutes, flip for 2, then spoon over the glaze to coat.
- 03Steam the greens.
- 04Serve over the rice with the pan glaze and a scatter of sesame.
Use tamari to keep it gluten-free. Frozen salmon works; just pat it dry before it hits the pan.
