V-Up
A dynamic core movement lifting the legs and torso to meet in a V over the hips. Trains explosive spinal flexion through a full range.

- 01Lie flat with the arms extended overhead and legs straight.
- 02Brace the abs and press the lower back toward the floor.
- 03Lift the legs and torso together, reaching the hands toward the feet.
- 04Balance on the sit bones in a V at the top.
- 05Lower both back down with control without slamming.
- 01Reach hands to feet over the hips.
- 02Keep the legs straight if you can.
- 03Lower slowly, don't drop.
- 01Yanking up with momentum and a rounded flop — control the lift and descent.
- 02Letting the lower back arch off the floor at the start — brace first.
- 03Bending the knees to make it easier without meaning to — regress to tuck-ups if needed.
Note: Reference material, not a prescription. Load, volume and whether this movement suits you at all depends on your assessment — if something hurts, stop and get it looked at.
