HOW TO DO IT
  1. 01Kick up into a handstand with the heels resting against a wall.
  2. 02Set the hands slightly wider than the shoulders, fingers spread.
  3. 03Brace the whole body into one line and lower the head toward the floor.
  4. 04Stop when the crown lightly touches or nearly touches.
  5. 05Press back up to straight arms, keeping the ribs knit in.
COACHING CUES
  1. 01Stack the body in one line against the wall.
  2. 02Lower under control to the crown.
  3. 03Press evenly through both hands.
COMMON MISTAKES
  1. 01Overarching the back to press up — keep the ribs in and body long.
  2. 02Dropping fast onto the head — control the descent.
  3. 03Splaying the elbows wide — keep them tracking over the wrists.

Note: Reference material, not a prescription. Load, volume and whether this movement suits you at all depends on your assessment — if something hurts, stop and get it looked at.
